In ancient times, according to mythology, Aegina owes its name to the daughter of God Asopus, Aegina, whom Zeus fell in love with and kidnapped her to the island of ‘’Oinoni’’, which was renamed Aegina.
Geography:
Aegina is the second largest island of Argosaronicos, after Salamis and has an area of 85 square kilometers. It is 16 nautical miles from Piraeus. The length of the coasts is 57 km. The climate of the island of Aegina is characterized as warm and semi-arid Mediterranean, sweet in winter and cool in summer, absolutely healthy.
Arrival Day:
We are welcoming you from 12.00 onwards on Friday June 16, at the Rastoni Hotel a few meters from the center of Aegina. In the afternoon we conduct a Yoga session by Evangelia, a local teacher of the island!
2nd day:
We start our day with a morning run and then we visit the Kolonas’ museum. In the afternoon follows our visit to the temple of Afaia and the speech by Mrs. Koulizaki.
3rd day:
We hike in the morning with a local guide on the wonderful circular route to the Ancient Eleonas of Aegina. In the afternoon, the experiential event is held by Mrs. Koulizaki on the island of Moni.
Departure day:
Starting the day with mobility exercises, we continue with the act of offering by donating books to the place of visit, followed by a discussion and then the departures.
How is Aphaea connected with Artemis, but also Aegina with Sisyphus, Achilles and the river Asopus? Through a journey through the Myths we will attempt to activate the heroic Archetypes within us and inspire our Soul to conquer passions and conquer Harmony.
The ideal way to escape the Ego and achieve Ecstasy is through the Sacred Manias, as given to us through Plato's ‘’Phaedrus’’. We invite you to get to know them and integrate them into your life through an experiential approach in an ideal natural field with our guiding Philosophy.
